Rectangular bronze-tone watch fob with a raised bird (dove/eagle-type) emblem and a lamp-of-knowledge design at the bottom. Inscribed: "INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS ON HYGIENE AND DEMOGRAPHY" and a date that appears to read 1912. Issued as a commemorative medal for the 1912 congress; wear and patina consistent with age.
